Worship Gathering

Our Vision: Through our life together we will grow to become a progressive force for hope, equality and renewal in Pasadena.

We gather for MONTHLY worship (3rd Sundays) at 5PM on the 3rd floor in ROOM 301 at the FCC building at 464 East Walnut Street in Pasadena. However, quarterly, we meet at 12:30 in Memorial Park near the bandshell for meal and worship.

Beginning in January of 2016 we are experimenting with focusing more of our time in Small Groups and shifting to MONTHLY worship at 5PM on the 3rd Sunday of most months in room 301 on the 3rd floor of the FCC building at 464 East Walnut Street in Pasadena. However, quarterly, in place of the 5PM worship we will host a meal and worship in the park on at 12:30PM. See below for the schedule.

We envision our worship as a come-as-you-are, spirit-filled and inspiring gathering of all those seeking to explore their faith and grow in community.

Worship is intimate, interactive and conversational. We typically begin each worship gathering with a pot-luck meal at 5-5:20, then begin with worship to follow, usually until 6:30 or so. We are a smaller community so we intentionally share our joys and concerns, and pray for one another.

For us, there is no divide between the secular and sacred worlds; we seek to become more holistic in the way we authentically live out our faith. We don’t merely seek to encounter God on Sunday, but to build a relationship with the living God in our daily lives

Kids and adults of all ages are welcome to join in worship. We have some toys and art supplies children can play with during worship. Alternatively, if your children are wanting to play and get some energy out, you are welcome to take them to the nursery (next door to the worship space). It's for children up to 6 years old.
